Question:
I'm going to be manufacturing a special symbol deck for mentalists very soon. This deck will be a unique tool in the world of symbol decks. My question is, would you prefer this in standard poker size, or bridge size cards?

I'd like something like the Symbology Deck by Sean Taylor - that I don't think are any longer available. I have a deck, but they are not printed on card stock that really feels like a regular deck; and they are marked. I'd like something that has four colors of symbols and thirteen different symbols (like the Symbology Deck , so it can be used like any memorized deck system) and feels like regular quality card stock and without the marking. If you can do that, I'll be your first buyer. ...and definitely poker size.

My concept does not involve back markings. These are currently planned to be blank white on the back. However, there are ten different symbols, each repeated in five colors. This results in a 50 card deck.
The symbols themselves include the standard Zener shapes, plus five more that seem appropriate to the set. Since there are ten symbols in five colors, every card in the deck is unique, and the size of the deck is comparable to a standard deck of playing cards.
This deck will also have one "special feature", which I'm keeping under wraps for now.

Std poker size for me. I'm in the UK and all the cards here are bridge size as standard. After many years buying bicycles and tally ho's though, bridge size cards feel way too small. Granted with these cards there isn't going to be any elaborate shuffing going on but std poker size just feel more comfy to me now. The deck sounds great and will be versatile. The last deck like this I bought was Michael Murrays beyond ESP deck. This is a great deck with a nice ''system' although this was only the std 5 symbol set. Look forward to see how yours turns out Ben.

I use standard poker size only because of the finish and most designs I can't get in bridge but I do like how the bridge ones fit in my small hands.

Am I to believe a seedling from "The Ben Blau Project" is coming to fruition? Sounds wonderful.

I feel similarly to most of the responses you received - I always prefer standard poker size.
